Canon HF-DC1 High-Power Flash for PowerShot

In a first for its digital camera line-up, Canon has introduced an optional zoom flash, the High Power Flash HF-DC1 was designed specifically to enhance the limited range built-in flash of Canon PowerShot digital cameras and extend the options for night and indoor shooting. This new flash is a supplementary slave unit that operates wirelessly and ignores any pre-flash to automatically fire in-sync with the camera's in-built flash! With a guide number of 18 (ISO 100 meters), your PowerShot's effective flash range will increase from 14 feet or less up to approximately 30 feet.

The HF-DC1 is supplied with a mounting bracket for convenient camera attachment, but it can also be hand-held, tripod or light stand mounted to adjust the lighting angle for high quality pro-like results.

You have a choice of three power settings and Multiple HF-DC1 units can be synchronized with a single camera for even greater lighting flexibility. This smart high powered slave flash unit is compact and compatible with almost every PowerShot digital camera made.
