The Nikon MC-36 Multi-Function Remote Cord is designed for use with Nikon SLR cameras equipped with a 10-pin remote terminal. This remote cord is recommended for preventing camera shake during close-up (macro) photography or whenever remote shutter release is required.

The most impressive feature of the MC-36 is the programmable interval timer, which allows for time-lapse photography without manual intervention. All important data, such as delay time and number of shots, is displayed on the unit's LCD screen. The MC-36 is also equipped with a trigger-lock function, which is especially useful in bulb exposure or focus-priority operation, when using the trigger-lock function is far more convenient than manually depressing the shutter release button.
