Nissin Digital Speedlite Di866 Mark II Flash (for Canon EOS E-TTL)

The Nissin Di866 Mark II Professional Flash Unit features outstanding functions and professional performance with a guide number of 60 and sub-flash with a guide number of 12 (ISO100, 105mm).

Additional features include a user-friendly design, a convenient color display with rotation sensor, external service port for firmware updates, wireless TTL system support, auto zoom, external power pack socket, x-terminal socket for flash synchronization, rear curtain sync, built-in reflector and diffuser panel, and a 90° tilting / 180° rotating flash head.

Key Features:

Color Display w/ Auto Rotate
The Color Display features a convenient, user-friendly, six-icon menu that automatically rotates 90 degrees when the camera is tilted for vertical shooting. Six available modes include: Auto, TTL, Manual/Av, Multi, Wireless TTL (Master/Remote) and Custom Setting.

Various Functions -- TTL, Manual, Av Priority, Multi-Flash

• TTL: Flash output is automatically controlled by the camera but the flash exposure value can be compensated.
• Manual: Flash power can be adjusted manually at 22 levels, from full power to 1/128 power at every 1/3 stops. The appropriate distance to the subject is shown in the display in accordance with the aperture value set on the camera.
• Av Priority: The flash light can be automatically controlled by the photo sensor in the flash unit instead of TTL metering. The f-stop can be set from F1.4~F16.
• Multi-Flash: The power ratio can be set from 1/8 to 1/128.

TTL Wireless System Support
The Di866 Mark II can be used jointly with Canon-brand flashes as both a Master and Remote (Slave).

High Sensitivity Wireless Sensors
The built-in high-performance wireless sensors cover a distance of 25 meters (direct remote sensing range), making it easy to use multiple flashes for outstanding lighting.

Sub-Flash
The Di866 Mark II provides a small sub-flash (GN12) below the main flash. This small flash provides fill-in light while bouncing the main flash. The power ratio can be set from 1/1 to 1/128.

Auto Zoom
Auto Zoom covers 24~105mm focal range. A built-in diffusing panel covers wide angle shots at 18mm (35mm format).

My TTL
TTL exposure level is accurately calibrated for standard balance in accordance with Nissin's standard. However, if any adjustment is required, or if you like to set your own preferable level, it can be adjusted about +3Ev. ~ -3Ev. by every 1/3 step.

Rear Curtain Sync and High Speed Shutter
In rear curtain sync, the flash fires just before the rear curtain closes. By using this function at slow shutter speed, a moving subject will appear with such moving marks behind. High speed sync. is recommended for daylight flash photography.

Quick Loading Battery Magazine
The Di866 Mark II has the same battery magazine system as the Di866 and Di466, which allows four AA batteries to be inserted in the same direction, so that batteries can be correctly inserted even in poor light conditions.

External Service Box
External Power Pack Socket -- Di866 Mark II supports Nissin Power Pack PS 300.
X-Terminal -- Di866 Mark II has an X-terminal socket for flash synchronization.
USB Service Port -- Di866 Mark II provides a USB port to update firmware.
