The lens is optically corrected, which is especially useful in architecture and landscape photography, and the 63.1° angle of view allows the user to create extremely unique pictures.

This version of Rokinon's 35mm lens also incorporates an automatic diaphragm and features contacts that allow the lens to communicate with your Nikon SLR camera. This enables the A, S and P exposure control modes of the camera, and although focusing is manual, the camera will indicate when a subject is focused correctly in your viewfinder.
